Another KIA STINGER GT which we had the pleasure to host in our company. This time the purpose of the work was to individually tune the engine controller. Individual chip tuning allows you to adjust the parameters to the requirements set for us by the customer, the conditions of a particular item or modifications carried out in the car. The client of this Stinger decided to install the exhaust system of the RCP company with the omission of secondary catalytic converters. In addition, candles from the original HKS and a less restrictive air filter insert were replaced.

Within a few hours spent on the dyno, we have brought our STAGE 1+ software to safe values. The engine controller, which is responsible for the coordination of the unit’s work is the modern siemens sim2K-260. We used the Magic Motorsport device to read this control unit. In order to gain access to the contents of the control maps, it was necessary to disassemble the controller and program it on the table in the boot mode.

The result of our work is a significant increase in the dynamics of the car on the road. Thanks to the aftermarket exhaust, every gas addition is turned into a beautiful racial sound V6. Driving such a modified Kia Stinger GT will delight even the most demanding drivers.
